Adam Levin has more than 30 years experience in consumer protection and is a prominent expert on credit and identity theft. Earlier in his career, he served as a Director of the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, where he was responsible for the passage and rollout of more than 40 major consumer protection laws and regulations. It was during this experience that he realized there was a lack of reliable and accurate credit information available. In 1995, he co-founded Credit.com to educate and help consumers better manage their credit finances. Credit.com has since grown into a leading resource and online marketplace for credit solutions and products.
Ian Cohen has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2009 and has been a recognized credit expert for nearly a decade. By leveraging his experience in management, online education, and product development, he is passionate about simplifying the process of applying and getting credit. Prior to Credit.com, he was the Founder and CEO of ALIC Creative Partners, a content marketing company that helped credit and financial services companies educate and engage their customers. Ian is a frequent panelist and contributor on credit topics and also serves on Experian's Fraud Advisory Board. He is a graduate of Columbia University.
Michael Schreiber leads the editorial and content team, which consists of more than 30 credit experts. Credit.com’s content is syndicated daily across major news and media outlets including Yahoo, MSN, AOL, NBC and others. Michael is an Emmy and DuPont award winning journalist & producer, with more than 15 years of experience and has worked in print, television and online. Previously, He was Managing Editor of MainStreet.com, the personal finance site owned by TheStreet.com. He is a graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where he also served as an adjunct professor in the multimedia department.
Michelle has deep leadership experience in the direct to consumer credit management industry and a strong passion for helping consumers improve their credit standing and overall financial health. Michelle spent more than 10 years in leadership positions at myFICO, the consumer division of Fair Isaac Corporation, where she led the new product development efforts and directed the strategic partnership channel. Earlier in her career she worked in the financial services industry at Liberty Enterprises (now Harland Clarke) with a strong focus on the development and implementation of Internet banking and online payment systems. Michelle has an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Tim Olson has more than 20 years experience in business development with several of the largest US financial institutions. Ten years ago, he launched Experian’s Data Breach Resolution practice to $70mm in annual revenue -- supporting many of the largest data breach events in US history. He then led Experian Consumer Services Affinity Group as its GM / SVP of Business Development; winning new accounts exceeding $500mm in total contract value. Most recently he served as Group Vice President – Strategic Accounts at Experian in which he was responsible for Experian’s largest accounts including Citibank, Wells Fargo, American Express, Discover, Google, Facebook and Apple. Prior to joining Experian, Olson worked for American Express, London-based Thomas Cook and UBS. Tim graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University where he attended the Marriott School of Management and is fluent in German.
Ryan leads Credit.com's product development team. With more than 15 years of experience in ecommerce, finance, customer acquisition and online advertising, he's drawn to high growth start-ups where he's able to develop and grow powerful products that can truly impact people. Prior to Credit.com, Ryan spent years as a pioneer in Spain's fledgling start-up scene, running and eventually selling his own e-commerce site, Spencer Enzo. Later he joined Macromedia and eventually NoMoreRacks.com. He graduated from UCLA with a B.S. Microbiology, Molecular Genetics and Immunology. Finally, Ryan is very close to earning his captain's license, after which he will be obliged to take each member of the Credit.com team sailing.
Ellen has nearly 20 years of experience leading marketing teams and has worked at the intersection of consumer financial services and technology throughout her career. Prior to joining Credit.com, Ellen was VP, Consumer Marketing at Manilla, a Hearst-funded personal finance start-up, where she led digital & product marketing. Ellen spent nearly seven years at Yahoo!, serving in a number of senior marketing & business roles, including GM of Yahoo! Personals, Regional Business leader of Yahoo! Travel & Yahoo! Answers and Director of Marketing for Yahoo!'s community & social media properties. She also worked at Intuit where she drove Internet initiatives for the Quicken business. Earlier in her career, Ellen worked as a management consultant at KPMG, in marketing at Citibank and as a journalist at American Banker. Ellen earned a BS in Journalism from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business.
Rebecca has over 20 years of experience in the software industry. She has displayed strong leadership throughout her career with an extensive track record of architecting and delivering high quality, scalable systems. She has a deep understanding of software development techniques and processes and emphasizes a pragmatic agile approach. Prior to joining Credit.com, Rebecca was Vice President of Software Engineering and Product Architecture at Innovative Interfaces. Rebecca holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with majors in Computer Science and Mathematics.
JP comes from England where he trained in industrial design. He has used the same ideals of craftsmanship to develop digital experiences for over a decade - discover the true purpose of the product, constantly iterate, and deliver results in a tangible form to produce sophisticated results. He co-founded SOLV in 2007 to create compelling product experiences using his ideals of the chain of craftsmanship with an emphasis on collaboration, prototyping and continuous iteration, which he believes enables companies to deliver the right product, for the right people, at the right time. These clients include Airbnb, Google, Nike, HTC, Nokia, Polycom, Panasonic, and Salesforce. Prior to SOLV, he was Samsung’s first interaction designer in London. Working in a rich multi-disciplinary and culturally diverse environment he applied his thinking to a range of business groups including mobile, imaging, and appliances, and helped develop new product types and interaction methods for the company. Previous awards include an RSA Product Award and acceptance to the Royal College of Art.
