Q. What products are available through the Credit.com affiliate program?

A. The Credit.com Affiliate Network offers a vast selection of consumer-related financial products to promote. This includes credit reports, credit monitoring, credit cards, auto loans, personal loans, debt counseling services and many more.

Q. How are sales tracked and credited to my website(s)?

A. The performance of any link that includes your unique affiliate ID number will be tracked back to your account. It is important that your affiliate ID is inserted correctly. The easiest way to ensure link accuracy is to download creatives directly through our system. We'll insert your affiliate ID automatically.

Q. How do I monitor my sales revenue?

A. You'll receive instant notification for every sale referred by your site with our digital email receipts.

We also offer weekly email statements delivered to your inbox. And you can login to this site anytime to track your account performance. Quick numbers are available on the Dashboard and detailed analysis can be generated under the Reports tab.

Q. Can I make more commissions per sale?

A. Contact your affiliate manager to discuss upgrading your commission schedule based upon the quality and volume of your business. We're glad to help!

Q. What information will my reports include?

A. The reports include the following features:

Aggregate Click Data - the number of visitors who have visited Credit.com from your website with interest in a particular service.

Sales Data - the number of a completed transaction.

Revenue Data - the amount of money you are earning.

Q. Can I get data about actions users take on Credit.com that don't generate commissions?

A. We currently don't report back information about actions that users take that do not generate commissions.

Q. How is a sale defined?

A. A sale is defined as a non-fraudulent, non-duplicate completed application where the applicant has expressed interest in the product or service applied for and has truthfully completed all required fields.

Q. How do I get paid?

A. Credit.com affiliate payments are paid by the 30th or end of the following month to reflect the net sales generated the prior month. We now offer direct deposit/ACH transfer. To sign-up, download the form. Also for new affiliates be sure to provide us with a completed W-9 form.

Q. Do I have to pay taxes on the revenue I earn from Credit.com?

A. Yes. You will be required to pay taxes in accordance with applicable state and federal schedules. Credit.com will report all revenue attributable to you to the Internal Revenue Service under the tax identification number or Social Security number you provided. A 1099 will be issued to reflect your earnings for the calendar year and disbursed at the beginning of the new calendar year.

Q. Do we accept affiliates outside the United States to join our program?

A. Yes. We welcome affiliates from other countries to participate in our publisher program. However, most Credit.com products and services are only available to U.S. residents over the age of 18. Therefore, we do not recommend promoting Credit.com to an international audience unless your website(s) have U.S. traffic. We offer credit cards for UK and Canadian residents at this time.

Q. Can I use the Credit.com name and logo on my site?

A. Yes. You can use our logo; however, please do not alter the logo in any way. You are also restricted from using any logos of other companies who offer their products throughout the network without their permission.

Q. What is "Agent Tracking?" What is an "Agent ID?"

A. Agent tracking is an additional feature incorporated to our existing HTML codes located at the end of each affiliate link. We strongly encourage all of our affiliates to utilize this feature as a way to track sales and performance when marketing several of our offers at one time. This allows you to evaluate if an offer is working in keeping with the needs of your business.

When you download creatives through this site, you'll be offered a chance to add a custom agent ID.

Q. Are there requirements on the length of an agent ID?

A. An agent ID must be at least two characters and no more than 50 characters in numeric or letter value.

Q. Does Credit.com allow sub-affiliates?

A. Yes. We do allow sub-affiliates to participate in our program to promote our offers. We ask that you create an agent ID for the sub-affiliate to assure tracking is properly in place.

Q. Will I be compensated for additional products that the consumer purchases?

A. Yes. If a consumer purchases a product aside from what from what is actively being promoted, you will be automatically compensated for the sale. We take pride in our program and want to see our affiliates succeed. We are more than happy to compensate you for any other paid affiliate product that is sold.

Q. How does the default credit card sorting/ordering work?

A. It is EPC based.
