No, it does not. Your debit card and check cards are nothing more than plastic checks that access funds out of your checking account. Your checking account does not show up on your credit report, and therefore your debit and check cards will not show up either.

Some people believe they can establish or rebuild credit by opening a debit or check card, but that is not the case. Don’t let the Visa or MasterCard logo on debit or check cards fool you… they're not really credit cards. Also keep in mind that prepaid cards will not help your credit scores either.

The only types of cards that build credit history and affect your credit scores are secured cards and unsecured cards.
