I have a question, maybe Emily will answer it as well.
I recently paid off all accounts on my credit report that were overdue. How soon after will my score go up? I’d like to refinance my house but I want to wait until my score goes up.

Your scores are based on “real time” credit information which means that when your credit report information changes, so do your scores. What you’ll have to wait for is for the credit reports to reflect the payments you’ve made. That can take 30 days, or so.

I am a married 27 year old female. Everything is in my husbands name. We can’t put me one the mortgage because I have no credit. How do I get started so I don’t drag us down anymore?
Thanks
