Pet peeve: “bring” is not the same as “take”. The title of this post should read “Taking your kids…” Why these two words get swapped by the best of the people I meet with in the US is beyond me. Sorry for this but I have to make the point to someone as highly thought of as yourself, Mark.

Hi Jeremy: my dictionary says “bring” means:
“come to a place with (someone or something) : she brought Luke home from the hospital”
It seems like my use of “bringing” works in the headline I wrote, no?
