Today’s blog is short and sweet—and I’m salty! I’ve had a relatively decent week—we paid off the Lowe’s card and will be tackling the Best Buy card next. I don’t even know what we purchased with that card—I just know we have $2K on that card to pay off. I hope we’re enjoying whatever it is we purchased! I’m suffering though with the desire to get things paid off more quickly but I don’t want to make the sacrifice and decrease our fun money in order to throw more money at the debt. And it’s not even that much fun money—$200 a month for a couple that brings in over $11K a month.

This process is happening so slowly for me that I’m actually growing tired of talking about it. I’m not ungrateful for the experience; I’m overwhelmed by it. I’m clearly not a patient person which is how we got into this mess in the first place. I do feel like we’re in a good holding pattern of getting out of debt right now. We’re paying things down. We’re managing our money better. There’s nothing more to say about it right now except that I pray for the continuation of this payoff pattern. I pray for the new opportunity I’m looking into that may increase the pace at which we’re paying off debt. And I pray that nothing comes at us out of the blue and throws us off.
