Expert Review: With its high annual fee, the Delta Reserve Credit Card is not for everyone. Like many other travel rewards cards, you will earn 1 mile per dollar on almost every purchase you make. However, this is where the similarities end. With your first purchase with this card you earn 10,000 Medallion Qualifying Miles. Unlike Delta's SkyMiles, Medallion Qualifying Miles are used towards achieving Medallion status: Silver starts at 25,000. Medallion status is useful for instant upgrades to business or first class. There are also unique perks including priority boarding and priority waiting list. Each year you will get a free companion economy or first-class ticket. Also cardholders enjoy free access to Delta's Crown Room lounges. If you often fly with Delta, this card is definitely worth a look. Updated:
