Chase will give cardholders who use its Ultimate Rewards program a number of holiday deals and special offers this year, the company announced. Consumers can not only gain bonus points for every purchase they make on select days, but also receive large discounts in certain instances.
For example, those who redeem 5,000 rewards points or more between November 14 and December 30 will receive a free Best Buy gift card as a bonus, the company said. Consumers who redeem 5,000 will get a $10 card, while those who spend 10,000 or more will receive one for $25.
Further, Chase will give cardholders who use their rewards points on Cyber Monday an additional 30 percent off, the company said. In addition, from November 26-30, those who do their online shopping at the Ultimate Rewards Mall will receive eight bonus points for every dollar they spend.
Chase is just one of several credit card companies to improve their rewards offerings during the holiday season.
