Hello Everyone,
Does anybody have any scoops on a company named Global Finance? I applied to them for a 6k loan for 3 years, but they want a processing fee of $350. Didn't send them any money because I've been burned before about 10 years ago. I asked them could I send them the $350 after they send me the 6k, just to feel them out, but I think yall know what the answer to that question was.

Any help would be greatly appreciated yall.

The Info

Global finance
98 Kensington Drive
Colorado Springs, Colorado 80229 U.S

Peter D. Adamo & Bob Richards are the names of the contacts.

Thanks Yall

Nice - do you have a contact number or website address for these guys? A google search returns a ton of Global Finance options so I can't weed out which company you're referring to.

Quick Tip: If you find a lender that you're not sure is legitimate, it would be a very good idea to check with your state Attorney General's office or your state's Department of Banking or Financial Regulation to see if the lender is registered in your state. All lenders are required to register in the states where they do business. If they're not registered, they're not legit.

dtempleton,

Thanks for the tip. No phone# was provided, but I will ask them, but I won't be surprised if they beat around the bush. No website either, but they do use a hotmail email address. That should be a red flag right there, but I'm not messing with these characters anymore. Like I have $350 to just lose or giveaway.

I will contact my AG just to find out. Use it as a learning experience.

Thanks dtempleton

Yeah, a hotmail (or any of the free mail accounts) are a big red flag. If they were a legitimate, professional lender, they would certainly have a business email address.
