Chapter 9 Conclusion

Getting past money problems requires four steps:

  1. seeing that you’re in trouble;
  2. cutting back on your spending;
  3. negotiating your debts;
  4. repaying debts, steadily.

You can get help with steps 2 through 4. But you have to see the problem yourself, first, before anything else can happen.
