Christine DiGangi is the former Deputy Managing Editor - Engagement for Credit.com and covered a variety of personal finance topics. Her writing has been featured on USA Today, MSN, Yahoo! Finance and The New York Times International Weekly, among other outlets.

The experts at Credit.com have weighed in on a variety of issues lately, from privacy and consumer protections to identity theft and shopping for credit cards.

The New Jersey Star-Ledger wrote about travel fraud victims receiving tax bills on their refunds, and Credit.com Director of Consumer Education Gerri Detweiler talked about the challenges taxpayers face with erroneous 1099-Cs.

Gerri covered a lot of credit card issues, as well.

She talked to Daily Finance about shredding unwanted pre-approved credit card offers and WFLA and Retail Me Not about kids’ first credit cards.

ABC News interviewed Gerri about a class-action lawsuit against Capital One for allegedly using a “bait and switch” tactic to get consumers to transfer balances at 0% APR.

Credit.com’s Co-Founder and Chairman Adam Levin was interviewed and quoted about the changing American Dream by HuffPost Live, Fox Business News, World Magazine and Examiner.com.

Adam touched on online privacy and security tips in a CNN Money story run by WTVR about hacking bank accounts.

Gerri talked to Fox Business News about a Wall Street Journal study on wealth and happiness in America.

Both Adam and Gerri gave interviews on identity theft. Women’s Money radio talked to Gerri, and a Yahoo Finance story on teen identity theft consulted Adam.

In an interview with NBC News, Adam weighed in on the expected rise in fraud as the Affordable Care Act health insurance exchanges roll out.
