Cardholders can earn 25% more if they redeem rewards on travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards, Chase’s rewards platform. That means that you can really earn big!
The Capital One VentureOne travel credit card is ideal if you want a simple credit card. The card has a pretty sweet sign-up bonus – you can earn 20,000 miles after spending $1,000 on purchases within the first three months of the account opening. That’s worth $200 in travel credits. The Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card offers very generous rewards. Cardholders earn 12X the Hilton Honors Bonus Points for eligible purchases at Hilton Hotels, 6X the bonus points at U.S. restaurants, U.S. gas stations, and U.S. supermarkets, and 3X the points on all other eligible purchases. New cardholders can also earn up to 125,000 reward points if they spend $2,000 on Hilton purchases within the first three months of opening the new account.
Recently, Wells Fargo upped their game with the Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card. New cardholders can earn 30,000 bonus points if they spend $3,000 within the first three months of opening the account (a $300 value when redeemed). Cardholders earn 3X the points on travel, eating out, gas stations, rideshares, and transits. All other purchases earn 1X the points.
